A Warm Beginning: The Story of A&D Fabric Craft
Welcome! My name is Agnieszka, and I’m the heart and hands behind A&D Fabric Craft.
This little creative studio was born from a simple dream – to bring beauty, softness, and mindfulness into everyday life through handmade fabric accessories.
For me, sewing is more than a craft – it’s a peaceful ritual.
The gentle sound of the needle meeting fabric, the scent of freshly cut cotton, and the joy of seeing an idea take shape into something real – something that can bring comfort or a smile.
How It All Began
My story didn’t start in a big studio, but at the dining table in our guest room – the same table where my family shares meals.
Between cups of coffee and snippets of daily life, I created my very first projects.
Later, my husband built a tiny home studio just for me – a cosy space where every piece of A&D Fabric Craft now comes to life.
Before that, I worked in the corporate world – surrounded by procedures, systems, and screens.
When I became a mother, something inside me shifted. I wanted my work to have meaning – to fill my heart, not just my schedule.
Every scrunchie, pouch, or sleeve I made became more than a product.
It became a reminder that we can live slower, softer, and more intentionally.

My first true love? Book sleeves.
There’s something magical about protecting your favourite story inside another story – one sewn by hand and filled with intention.
Each sleeve from the Cozy Reads Collection is handmade in the UK using soft, long-lasting fabrics such as velvet, corduroy, cotton, or bamboo towelling.
They are designed not just to look beautiful, but to feel beautiful – soft, warm, and personal.
